Challenge The challenges we faced were creating a system of typography hierarchy system that is easily understood, we also needed to create a color palette that would visually disruptive within the space it is displayed.
Solution We decided to go with a vibrant color palette that would highlighted the background which made it easy to place a very simplistic type hierarchy that was easily visible by using a neutral color (white).

MainStage is Columbia College Chicago’s theatre department’s showcase. The mission is to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive education in the practices and processes of creating theatre and live performance, within the context of higher learning.
